ANTISLOP is me: Renn Brown.

I’m a filmmaker, writer, and creative based in Atlanta, GA.

For the past decade, I’ve worked across film, advertising, documentary and unscripted television, often toggling between creative strategy and boots-on-the-ground production.

After graduating from SCAD with a film and sound degree in 2010, I got my start covering film news and interviewing Hollywood talent for the cult-favorite site CHUD.com.

Ever since, I’ve worked as a freelancer, splitting time between the film and marketing worlds. After a start directing local projects and music videos in Atlanta, I first worked with Joseph Kahn in 2015 to help produce his satirical Power Rangers short film with Adi Shankar, which was a viral phenomenon that sparked conversation across the globe.

I later co-produced Kahn’s BODIED — a battle rap satire executive produced by Eminem and acquired by YouTube and NEON after sweeping Audience Awards at TIFF, AFI, and Fantastic Fest.

In parallel, I’ve built a decade-long career in advertising as a writer and consultant. Since 2012, I’ve contributed to hundreds of high-stakes pitches and successful bids with the biggest organizations and companies in the world. I’ve thought and written strategically about (nearly) every major brand on earth.

On the production side, I’ve worked as a coordinator or manager on dozens of interview-driven docu-series and reality shows, including shoots for Netflix, Hulu, MTV, and more in Atlanta, Tokyo, Riyadh, and Mexico City.

From crime and celebrity docs to live event coverage and sensitive unscripted interviews, I bring a calm, intuitive approach to working with executives, creatives, crews, and interview subjects on and off camera.

My interview philosophy is simple: create a comfortable, energized moment, then listen closely, mirroring the subject’s passion through the lens of the story being told, or the brand idea being explored.

For writing and communications, I now operate as ANTISLOP — a creative identity and evolving studio for consulting work at the edge of filmmaking, marketing and technology.
